SPANISH OAKS GOLF CLUB

PGA Tour architect and legend Bobby Weed designed the 18-hole Spanish Oaks golf course with two goals in mind: to create one of the best golfing experiences in Texas and, while doing so, to revere, restore and sustain the natural environment of the site. Weed's layout brings the existing topography into play on every hole, requiring shots up and down slopes, over ravines, creeks and ponds. His greens challenge the putter’s eye and mind. Thanks to an abundant supply of reclaimed irrigation water, the course remains lushly green even in the driest periods.

The expansive golf practice area enables you to work on every aspect of your game, whether it’s to warm up for a round or fine-tune your skills for future matches. Tee shots, approach shots, shots out of the rough or bunkers, putts over a subtly contoured green - all can be honed here. Golf clinics led by our PGA Teaching Professionals are a regular offering for members of all skill levels. And private instruction is available for all ages.

​At the beautiful Spanish-Colonial clubhouse, you can dine indoors or al fresco on our beautiful stone, tree-canopied patio. Enjoy a cocktail in the bar while watching the game, a casual lunch after a round of golf, or an elegant dinner in the evening. Our executive chef continuously updates the menu with new healthy, tempting cuisine. And our club staff delivers exceptional and attentive service. 

​Joining Spanish Oaks Golf Club opens the door to a host of fun activities. A favorite event is Friday night family dinners, with Kid Wranglers on hand to entertain the youngsters so Mom & Dad can enjoy a relaxing meal. The club calendar includes an annual Easter egg hunt in the Pecan Grove, ladies’ poker nights, a Father’s Day BBQ, special-occasion parties and golf tournaments. When it comes to private events, our club staff stands ready to help make it happen - cooking classes in your own kitchen, wine tastings, family reunions, business meetings, and so much more.
